Here are a few of his best tips and tricks:
– It’s super important that you optimize your thank you page. We’ve taken customers from 0 to as high as a 10% conversion on thank you pages. Transactional emails drive traffic to thank you page and based on our data, customers visit the thank you pages on average 2.7 times per order.
– A great way to upsell and cross-sell products is by offering same product purchased at additional discount, only now for the next few minutes. If they decline, offer the same product with even bigger discount.
– Offer multiple types of offers since different customers respond differently to various offers.
– We’ve seen the following be super effective: On the thank you page, display a popup with time sensitive offer on entire store, where the discount auto applies.
– Cart recovery is the most powerful automation for ecommerce stores. Make sure you keep testing and optimizing.
