I’m pumped to share this interview I did with Joshua Behr.

He was kind enough to share two email marketing tactics that he’s leveraging and seeing great results from.

1. Shop Now, Pay Later (Klarna, AfterPay, Sezzle, etc.)

He came up with a clever way to message these types of programs within an email (that you can split your payment out).

For example, in an abandoned cart email, he leverages pay with installments over the next few weeks/months, instead of offering a traditional discount.

He’s seeing a 18% lift in conversion and as such, is using this in other abandoned flows as well.

Code to use: ${{ event|lookup:’$value’|cut:’$’|divide:4|round_up:2 }}

Note: If you use it in browse you have to change out value since Klaviyo uses price their instead.

2. Using Privy forms (popup)

Code is active for the next 2 hours.

Those that don’t open, send them an email 4 hours later, we reactivated your code.
